Information about our Pre-school:
Our pre-school has been providing pre-school care and education for children within the village and surrounding area for over 30 years. Closely linked with our primary school and other local primary schools, our aim is to work in partnership with parents to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children where they will have equal opportunities to learn through a play based curriculum as devised by the Education Board. |
Our Pre-School jumper is supplied by both 'Signature Schools' and 'School Trends'.

Dear Parents
We hope you and your families are well and enjoying the summer?
We are looking forward to meeting you and your child during the week beginning 17th August (everyone will have received specific starting dates and times in their information packs)
Important: The latest update and information from Public Health and Education Authority guidance for reopening PreSchool during the Covid-19 pandemic has changed and we will now be opening full hours with attendance being 5 days per week again starting on Tuesday 1st September - we will discuss this further with you when you bring your child for the induction dates in August - ** all attendance dates in August will remain as they were stated in your latest letter.
To further prepare your child for starting Pre-School - I have prepared and uploaded a short video introducing myself and Karen (our deputy leader) with a brief tour of our setting for your child to watch.
If you haven't already done so please link in to our webpage found on dromaraps.org and then scroll down to click on the green 'preschool' bar - scroll down through the photos etc and show these to your child, talking to them about the many activities and play opportunities they will experience and enjoy when they start PreSchool.
To minimise the risk of Covid-19 infection: we have been advised to welcome and receive children and have them collected from the gates of Pre-School with no parents entering the setting. We ask that social distancing is maintained when queuing at the gates or in the car park. *** Please remember to read the copy of our 'Minimising the Risk of Covid-19 Infection Policy' included in the last information pack posted out to parents and we ask all parents to adhere to the procedures etc we have put in place.
** Please remember to bring everything as listed in your last info pack and any completed registration forms etc that have not yet been returned.
We understand that some parents may feel anxious about their child starting Pre-School with the current Covid-19 situation and we want to reassure parents that we will endeavour to keep your child safe and make their starting Pre-School experience a happy, fun and positive one and if you want to contact us with questions or discuss any concerns please do so - contact number is 07811959019.
Once again Stay safe and we are looking forward to seeing you all soon.
